Pregnancy After Loss Therapy

Compassionate support for anxiety, grief, and trauma during pregnancy after miscarriage, stillbirth, TFMR, or infant loss in New York & Connecticut.

Being pregnant again can be something you deeply wanted.

And it can also be terrifying.

Maybe you’re checking every sensation in your body. Holding your breath before ultrasounds. Counting down to the week when everything changed last time. Or finding it hard to let yourself feel excited because part of you fears what could happen.

Everyone around you may be celebrating.

But you remember what it feels like when pregnancy doesn’t end the way you hoped.

You don’t have to choose between hope and fear.

There is room for both here.

A New Pregnancy Doesn’t Erase What Happened Before

Pregnancy after loss can bring your previous experience back in ways you did not expect.

Appointments, ultrasounds, test results, physical sensations, due dates, and pregnancy milestones can all become reminders of what you have already been through.

You may feel anxious, hypervigilant, disconnected from the pregnancy, afraid to plan ahead, guilty about experiencing joy, or worried that becoming attached will somehow make another loss harder.

These reactions make sense in the context of what you have experienced.

You are not doing this pregnancy wrong.

You Don’t Have to Spend This Pregnancy Just Trying to Get Through It.

I specialize in pregnancy after loss, pregnancy loss, reproductive grief, birth trauma, and perinatal mental health.

Together, we can make space for the baby or pregnancy you are grieving while helping you navigate the pregnancy you are in now.

Depending on what you need, I may integrate grief therapy, EMDR, trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness, and body-based approaches to help with anxiety, traumatic memories, and feeling safer in your body.

The goal is not to convince you that everything will be okay.

It is to help you feel more grounded in the uncertainty, so fear does not have to take up all the space.

You Can Carry Grief and Hope Together.

You do not have to forget what happened before.

You do not have to force yourself to enjoy every moment.

And you do not have to go through this pregnancy alone.

We can take it one appointment, one milestone, and one moment at a time.
