You’ve been through something that your body still remembers, and a part of you is ready to feel different.
Whether it was a difficult or traumatic birth, pregnancy loss, a NICU experience, or the ongoing emotional weight of motherhood, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) offers a way to process what has been held in your body for far too long. When talking about it hasn’t been enough, this work allows the experience to finally settle so you can feel more present, more steady, and more like yourself again.
You don’t have to retell every detail of what happened. We begin by building a sense of safety, developing tools that support your nervous system and help you feel more grounded. From there, we gently work with the memories, sensations, or beliefs that still feel unresolved, using bilateral stimulation to help your brain and body process the experience so it no longer feels like it is happening right now.
This work can be especially meaningful if you feel caught in loops, replaying what happened, feeling on edge, shutting down, or carrying reactions that do not always make sense on the surface. Together, we make sense of what your body has been holding and create space for healing that is not just understood, but felt.
